As a second year student in a business school (ECE) in Bordeaux, I am doing three-month work experience from January 5^th, 2009 to the end of March. For me, the destination was the city of London. I’m starting this blog by the trip… a road trip actually! I’m sure you will say I’m the only one who’s going to London by car…and that’s true.  Finding my internship at the last minute, prices of plane tickets were…how to say, a little bit too expensive. That’s why I am going to the U.K by car. Here we are, in a Twingo car, with lots of luggage, for 9 hours of road to Calais to get the Euro-tunnel. Finally, it’s a good thing to travel by car: there are no taxes for the supplementary luggage and the atmosphere was quite fun. Well, the Euro-tunnel stopped itself; there was a problem with the radio or something like that. Anyway, we finally arrived in England. It was time to drive on left side! Huge laughing! And we could not lose ourselves, because we had not enough gas in the car. After a break of few hours, we went to an underground station, near London center. With my entire luggage, it was a big joke. I mean, without a help, I couldn’t get out of the station.

Dans le cadre de nos études, nous devons effectuer un stage de 3 mois à l'étranger. Pour ma part, destination: LONDON!
Commençons par le voyage... et quel voyage!!
Ayant trouvé mon stage à la dernière minute, les prix des billets d'avion étaient...comment dire, peu abordables!
Et comme une autre étudiante avait besoin de sa voiture en Angleterre (elle travaille vers Cambridge), me voilà partie de l'autre côté de la Manche en Twingo, avec juste le strict nécessaire dans nos valises comme vous devinez (finalement ce n’est pas plus mal de ne pas être partie en avion, j’imagine déjà la facture pour les kilos supplémentaires… aïe aïe aïe !)
L'eurotunnel a fait des siennes, soit disant qu'ils n'arrivaient pas à joindre leur tour de contrôle (on y croit...à moitié), mais on est finalement bien arrivées! Et là, en pleine nuit, il est temps de trouver notre hôtel et surtout de conduire à gauche!! Grand moment!! Surtout qu'il n'était pas question de se perdre, on avait quasiment plus d'essence...
Après s'être reposées quelques heures, direction une station de métro proche de Londres. Ouf, enfin posée dans ce métro, avec mes valises qui, bien sur, ne gênaient personne dans le wagon comme vous vous en doutez !!
